Nefertiti Lift

Nefertiti Lift in Manhattan, NYC
Do you find it difficult to look in the mirror because of unsightly neck skin or a sagging face? A brand-new Botox® procedure called the Nefertiti Lift can help anyone who is embarrassed by neck bands, a double chin, jowls, or wrinkles. Board-certified Manhattan plastic surgeon and general surgeon Richard W. Swift, Jr., M.D., F.A.C.S., offers the Nefertiti Lift.

What is a Nefertiti Lift?
Named for the beautiful Queen Nefertiti of Ancient Egypt, the procedure gives clients a smooth, sculpted jawline and neck area. As a result of aging and other factors, the group of muscles in the neck and jaw area known as platysma muscles can begin to tighten up, causing the face and neck to begin to sag downwards. This creates unsightly wrinkles, loose skin, and a sagging facial appearance. The Nefertiti Lift procedure uses Botox® to relax the platysma muscles, smoothing out the affected areas, restoring a more sculpted and attractive appearance to your neck and jaw area.

The new Nefertiti Lift procedure achieves similar results to a surgical neck lift. The Nefertiti Lift is a non-invasive procedure designed to work much faster than a surgical neck lift and requires far less downtime. Most Nefertiti Lift procedures only take between 10 and 15 minutes, depending on the number of injections required.

Ideal Candidates for a Nefertiti Lift
Anyone who is suffering from the initial signs of aging around the jawline and the upper neck area is an ideal candidate for the benefits of the Nefertiti Lift procedure. Individuals who are seeing the signs of more advanced aging in this area would most likely be better candidates for surgical intervention. To be eligible for a Nefertiti Lift, individuals must be in good health, and have a thorough and realistic understanding of what can be achieved by this breakthrough procedure.

How Is a Nefertiti Lift Performed?
The Nefertiti Lift is a non-surgical procedure, which means that the treatment does not require general anesthesia or a long recovery period, and there are no incisions or sutures. Dr. Swift will use Botox® or Dysport to perform the Nefertiti Lift.

Dr. Swift begins the Nefertiti Lift procedure by injecting Botox® directly into the platysma muscles. As the Botox® begins to take effect, the muscles in the affected area will begin to relax and become smoother, restoring the jawline. By allowing your facial muscles to lift up your cheeks, the appearance of drooping skin in the upper neck and jaw area will be minimized, and wrinkles and lines will be smoothed out, giving you a more sculpted, contoured jawline.

Dr. Swift will often add the right filler to the cheeks and chin area to further enhance the results. Depending on your unique needs, Dr. Swift will select one of Juvederm®, Voluma™, Restylane®, Radiesse®, and Sculptra and inject them into your jawline to boost the volume under your skin, giving you a more youthful appearance.

How Much Does The Nefertiti Lift Cost?
Costs for your Nefertiti Lift will vary depending on the number of units required to achieve your desired result. Most insurance plans do not cover plastic surgery or specific cosmetic treatments. Dr. Swift accepts payment via cash, check, or credit card, as well as Prosper® Healthcare Lending as a financing option.
